Heart Of A True Fisherman
I was born in Jackson, Tennessee, and it’s fair to say fishing has been part of my life since day one—I actually got my first fishing license the day I was born! With saltwater in my veins and the heart of a true fisherman, I’ve spent my life chasing fish from the freshwater lakes and rivers of Tennessee to the crystal-clear waters of the Florida Keys. After reconnecting with a childhood friend, I decided to follow my passion and move to Islamorada, where I found not just incredible fishing, but a place to call home. Once in the Keys, I started working as a mate on the Capt. Michael party boat out of Robbie’s Marina, learning from some of the most respected captains and mates in the area. Over the years, I earned my captain’s license, sharpened my skills offshore, and built a reputation as a dedicated, knowledgeable, and friendly guide.

Today, I’m grateful to share my passion for fishing with others as both a seasoned captain and a devoted family man. Whether I’m teaching kids to catch their first yellowtail on the reef or helping families reel in a trophy offshore, my goal is always to create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for anglers of all ages. For me, fishing is more than a career, it’s a way to bring people together.
